Sample submission terms

These terms apply once you ship or drop off a sample for analysis after accepting a quote.
Ownership and risk
You confirm you have the right to submit the sample for analysis. Ostiumlab handles samples with reasonable care but isn't liable for loss or degradation beyond what's caused by our negligence.
Hazard disclosure
Declare any hazardous properties (reactive, toxic, biological, radioactive) before shipping. We can decline a sample that arrives without proper disclosure or containment.
Results and liability
Reports reflect the sample as received and the technique's documented limits. Results are for your internal use and decision-making; Ostiumlab's liability is limited to the fee paid for the specific analysis.
Sample disposal
Unless you request return shipment (at your cost) within 30 days of the report, remaining sample material is disposed of according to standard lab procedure.
